Not how it works. Bribes are more like investments.

You would be surprised how cheap most of these politicians are

Same principle of paying shipping vs increasing cart value so you get free shipping

Kudos for the classic template!

The numbers are flipped. The taxes would be billions. The bribes are often even less than a million. There have been cases where “campaign donations” of sub $100k are enough to get mayors and candidates to totally flip their positions.
In the UK, it’s always taking a position that just so happens to massive benefit the type of industry that a family or friend works for.
In the US, its just open, legal bribery. Super PACs and whatnot are just openly corrupt.Â

Politicians are cheap to them. Actually is a 2 for 1, you buy yourself a politician and without giving money to the government, you make sure the people become subservient to you and your companies to make you even richer. It’s almost an investment to them

Bribes gives you power. Taxes dosent

It’s the other way around.
They’re paying millions in bribes to get billions in payouts, tax cuts, subsidies, and contracts.
Entire industries which shouldn’t even exist get sculpted that way.
Corruption has the best ROI of pretty much anything by far.

You underestimate how cheap politicians are.
